I'm back after a holiday :)

I haven't been posting for a while. Obviously, I'm not much of a writer with itching fingers.
Anyway, I have to share my experience from the last week. It's not something special, but was quite different from my lifestyle lately. I went to our cottage in the mountains togethere with my brother and my father. I know that I haven't mentioned where I live and it is going to remain like that. Of course, you can find it if you know how to dig deeper, but it's your own business.
It's amazing how easy it is to escape from the city and how rare actually we do it. One week without internet or even TV. My only connection to the outer world was a tiny Panasonic radio. Did I feel good... I really don't know. I guess I'm plagued by the convenience of the modern life, but it's sure that it was refreshing. The mountains have always been special for me and being surrounded by hills gives me a great sence of security.
Unfortunately, the weather was bad. Although it's summer, it was raining heavily and this usually means very cold nights. But this doesn't change the fact that we flushed our lungs with such clean air, that is impossible to find in the city.
After the mountains, we spent three days in the valley and made up for the cold with lots and lots of heat. I almost managed to get a sunburn. Almost :)))

Its great to have a good vacation!

Thanks!

Actually, being some 1300 meters up in the mountains always makes me feel closer to God, although I'm not such a religious person. You know, the stars there are amazing, not being hidden by city lights or smoke. You can see even the milky way. This makes everyday stuff look inferior.
